Woking Vineyard is made up of people of all ages and life-stages from many nations and cultures. Within this vibrant mix we find connection and belonging - a sense of family and community. 'Church' is people, not a building. We highly value our relationships and the shared journey through life. Following God has always worked best as a corporate and communal enterprise, so we are committed to nurturing our together-life. In a secular culture that fosters independence and isolation, we are committed to working out what it means to function as the 'Body' of Christ - each connected to each other and finding our purpose and significance in the 'Body'.
"By means of his one Spirit, we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives. We each used to independently call our own shots, but then we entered into a large and integrated life in which Christ has the final say in everything… Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain"
1 Corinthians 12:13 (MsgB)
